At MoodSwings, we believe that emotions are powerful, but expressing them isn’t always easy. Whether you’re an adolescent navigating the ups and downs of life, a caregiver trying to support a loved one, or a mental health professional seeking better ways to connect, MoodSwings provides a structured way to track emotions, facilitate meaningful conversations, and strengthen relationships.

Our mission is simple:

Why I Created MoodSwings

I created MoodSwings because I know what it’s like to struggle with emotions but not have the words to express them. For most of my life, I carried extreme emotions alone, believing that silence was strength. But the truth is, no one should have to navigate their emotions alone.

I’ve seen how communication barriers prevent young people from getting the support they need. Sometimes, emotions feel too overwhelming to explain. That’s why I built MoodSwings—to make it easier to express, connect, and feel heard. It’s more than a mood tracker; it’s a bridge between silent struggles and real support.

Small moments of connection can change lives. Whether it’s through a simple mood check-in, a guided message, or a letter from the Pen Pal of Hope program, I hope MoodSwings becomes a lifeline for those who need it most.

This is more than just an app—it’s a movement to create a world where no one suffers in silence. I’m honored to share this journey with you and can’t wait to see the impact MoodSwings will make.

  • Recipients receive messages from people who genuinely care, reminding them they’re not alone.
  • Anyone can participate—whether you’re a MoodSwings user or not—because sometimes, a few kind words can change a life.

This initiative is part of our mission to not only support emotional wellness within the app but also extend that support into the real world.
